Workouts: Understanding Metric Types

When creating a workout, you need to specify different metrics depending on the type of exercise and workout you are building. Here we have compiled all metrics, alongside short descriptions of each one.

After you insert an exercise into your workout, you will be required to set at least one metric. For each exercise, you can add one or more metric types.

The first metric you define is mandatory, and you can choose one of the following metric types:

  • Calories (cal)
  • Distance (m)
  • Duration (sec)
  • Repetitions (rep)

It is a requirement to indicate a number in the value field.

Next to the value field, you will find the "range" toggle. You have the option to activate it and define minimum and maximum values in lieu of just one value.

After specifying the first metric you can add one or more resistance metrics. Additional options are:

  • Angle (%)
  • Distance (m)
  • Duration (sec)
  • Height (cm)
  • Level (lvl)
  • Rpm (Rotations Per Minute)
  • Speed (km/h)
  • Watt (watt)
  • Weight (kg)

After adding your value(s), click on "Save metrics". Repeat this process with exercise you add to your workout.
