Control Tablet Reconfiguration Instructions

Introduction

Welcome to FXGYM.

To set up the control tablet correctly, it must be installed with the latest version of the Kiosk Browser application. This installation is done using an APK file placed on a USB stick.

Install the latest application

Step 1 — Prepare the USB stick

  1. Download the latest APK file on a computer:

    https://kbremote.blob.core.windows.net/apk/current/com.procoit.kioskbrowser.apk

  2. Copy the APK file to a USB stick.

  3. Safely remove the USB stick from the computer.

  4. Connect the USB stick to the ProDVX control tablet.

Step 2 — Open the hidden menu

Tap the screen four to five times quickly until the hidden menu appears.

Step 3 — Enter the PIN code

Enter PIN code 1234.

Step 4 — Open the Android interface

Select the cogwheel icon in the upper-right corner to open the Android interface.

Step 5 — Open the APK file

  1. Open the file manager.

  2. Select the connected USB stick.

  3. Open:

    com.procoit.kioskbrowser.apk

  4. If Android asks for permission to install applications from this source, enable this permission.

Step 6 — Install the application

  1. Select Install.

  2. Wait until the installation is complete.

  3. Select Open.

When permission requests appear, select Allow or Accept.

Step 7 — Register device

  1. Return to the hidden menu and open Settings.

  2. Select Go to Remote Management.

  3. Select Register device.

  4. Enter the registration key provided by Funxtion Support.

Complete the registration to connect the tablet to Remote Management.
